Westport Planning & Zoning Commission To Review 3 Municipal Improvement Applications
Westport P&Z will review public art and athletic field lighting proposals during next week's remote meeting.

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a remote public meeting at 6 p.m. June 1 to review three municipal improvement applications submitted under Connecticut General Statutes §8-24, according to Planning and Zoning Director Michelle Perillie.
The applications include a proposal for a public art display at Riverside Park, plans for permanent athletic field lighting at Wakeman B Field and plans for permanent athletic field lighting at PJ Romano Field.

- 427 Riverside Ave. — Municipal Improvement Application #PZ-26-00307, submitted by Paul Davis on behalf of the first selectman, for a public art display at Riverside Park in the Dedicated Open Space District #3.
- 70 North Ave. — Municipal Improvement Application #PZ-26-00361, submitted by Parks and Recreation Director Eric Barbieri on behalf of the first selectman, for installation of permanent athletic field lighting at Wakeman B Field.
- 170 Riverside Ave. — Municipal Improvement Application #PZ-26-00360, submitted by Barbieri on behalf of the first selectman, for installation of permanent athletic field lighting at PJ Romano Field.
The meeting will be held remotely via Zoom and livestreamed on the town website, westportct.gov. The meeting also will be accessible on Optimum Government Access Channel 79. The Zoom link is available on the meeting agenda posted on the town’s “Meeting List and Calendar” webpage.
Written comments may be submitted to PandZ@westportct.gov by noon June 1 for distribution to commission members before the meeting. Comments received after noon will be added to the record and distributed the next business day.
