Westport Police Acquire Explosives K-9
K-9 Ambo is trained in the latest explosive detection methods.
WESTPORT, CT — K-9 Ambo has joined the Westport Police K-9 Unit as its newest member. Ambo is a 3-year-old yellow Labrador trained to detect explosives.
Ambo is the first explosives detection K-9 in the department and will be handled by Officer James Loomer.
