Westport Police Hire New Officer
The Westport Police Department has announced the hiring of Sean Doyle as its newest officer.
WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Police Department announced this week Sean Doyle has been hired as the department's newest officer.
According to a news release, Doyle was sworn in Tuesday during a ceremony at Town Hall.
"I believe Sean will make an outstanding addition to the department," Chief of Police Foti Koskinas said in a news release, "and will be a great asset to our community."

Doyle began his law enforcement career with the Hartford Police Department in 2019. During his time there, he worked in the patrol division on both the evening and overnight shifts.
Doyle grew up in Manorville, N.Y., and later attended Sacred Heart University, where he graduated with a degree in exercise science.

Doyle said that his brother, who is a New York Police Department officer, inspired him to enter law enforcement.
