Westport Property Slated For Demolition Listed As New Build At $22-Plus Million: Report

A Westport property that drew viral attention before its planned demolition is now being marketed as a new build.

WESTPORT, CT — A Westport property that drew attention on TikTok last month is back on the market, this time as a future new-construction home priced at $22,825,000, CT Insider reported.

The home at 11 Beachside Common, formerly owned by biotech entrepreneur Alan Walton and his wife, Elenor, sold for $5 million last October, according to Westport property records.

Not long after, the house became a viral subject online not for typical estate-sale items, but for its unusual design features, including a 150-foot handmade tile path, domes, portholes, skylight tubes and a floating staircase.
