Westport Public Schools And Greens Farms Academy Closed Dec. 17

WESTPORT, CT — Westport Public Schools, and the private Greens Farms Academy in Westport, are closed on Tuesday, Dec. 17, due to the inclement weather that swept through Connecticut overnight, district officials announced.

"The Westport Public Schools will be closed today, December 17, 2019, for all students and staff," officials wrote on the district's website. "All offices will be closed. All activities scheduled for today will be canceled or rescheduled for a later date – please check with your school tomorrow."

Added GFA officials, "Consistent with the Westport public schools and other area school districts, Greens Farms Academy will be closed due to icy road conditions. All afternoon and evening activities will be cancelled. The Upper School Winter Concert will be rescheduled for tomorrow evening."
