Westport Resident Wins $50,000 With CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The lucky ticket was sold in Norwalk, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

WESTPORT, CT — An unnamed Westport resident is $50,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Norwalk, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Thursday, the person claimed a winning 5X The Money 17th Edition ticket that was bought at Fred's Car Wash on Westport Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $5 per ticket, began in May 2023, and as of Monday, one grand prize of $50,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 5.2 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.63.
