Westport RTM To Consider Funding For Jesup Road Bridge Replacement
Westport's RTM will consider appropriating funding for design and permitting work for flood-damaged bridge.

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Representative Town Meeting is scheduled to consider a $172,500 appropriation for design and permitting work related to the replacement of the Jesup Road Bridge during a special meeting Thursday.
The request from the town’s director of public works calls for appropriating the money to the Municipal Improvement Fund Account and authorizing bonds and notes for the project’s design and permitting costs.
The RTM is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8. The meeting will be held electronically, with no physical meeting location.

Residents can attend through Zoom. The meeting also will be livestreamed on the town website at westportct.gov and broadcast on Optimum Government Access Channel 79.

Members of the Westport electorate attending by telephone or video may comment on any agenda item, with comments limited to three minutes.
Residents also may email comments to RTM-DL@westportct.gov, which distributes messages to all RTM members. Emails will not be read aloud during the meeting.
