Westport School Bus Strike Possible in Future
The district said it has contingency plans if the strike becomes a reality.

WESTPORT, CT — The bus driver's union that services Westport has voted to authorize union leadership to call for a strike if deemed necessary.
Superintendent Colleen Palmer said there are plans in place if a strike becomes a reality.
"In the event that the drivers ever went out on strike, we have all of our school contingency plans in place and would activate those if needed," she said in a message posted to Facebook.
