Westport Voters Have Three Options To Cast Ballots In Upcoming Primary
The Connecticut primary is scheduled for Aug. 11; only registered Democrats and Republicans may vote.
WESTPORT, CT —The Westport Registrars of Voters are reminding residents that registered voters have multiple options to cast ballots in state and local elections.
For the upcoming primary on Aug. 11, registered Democrats and Republicans may vote by absentee ballot, during early voting using tabulators, or in person on Primary Day using tabulators.
Connecticut voters may request an absentee ballot for any reason. Applications are available online through the Connecticut Secretary of the State's absentee ballot request portal.

Early voting will be held at Westport Town Hall on the following dates:
- Monday, Aug. 3: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 4: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, Aug. 5: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 6: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Friday, Aug. 7: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 8: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 9: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
In-person voting on Primary Day will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Bedford Middle School, 88 North Ave.

Beginning with the Aug. 11 primary and continuing for future elections, Bedford Middle School will serve as the polling location for all Westport voters, replacing the town's previous polling locations, according to the registrars.
