Westport Woman Charged In Hit-And-Run Crash: Police

A woman was charged in a hit-and-run crash that occurred last month, according to police.

WESTPORT, CT — A woman was charged in a hit-and-run accident in Westport, according to police.

Police responded Nov. 25 at 8:15 p.m. to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the area of Saugatuck Avenue and I-95.

Police obtained dash camera footage of the crash and identified the driver at fault. A warrant was issued Dec. 23.

The woman wanted in the case turned herself into Westport police.

She was charged with failure to drive in proper lane, failure to comply with pass on right rules, and evading responsibility (hit and run).

She was released after posting $3,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court Jan. 12.
