Westport Woman Tackles, Scratches Man Who Tried to Record Her with a Cell Phone: Cops
The domestic disturbance occurred early Saturday morning on Compo Road South.

WESTPORT, CT — A 50-year-old Westport woman was arrested on a charge of third-degree assault early Saturday, Aug. 13, after she tackled a male victim who tried to record her with a cell phone during a domestic disturbance at a residence on Compo Road South.
The victim allegedly received a scratch on his face during the ensuing struggle for the cell phone, according to police. The circumstances surrounding the 4 a.m. disturbance were not disclosed.
Thomas was released after posting a $400 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 15. The current status of her case was not immediately available.
