Name:  Mimi McLaughlin

 Age: 47 

 Occupation: Owner, Saugatuck Grain and Grape, a new artisan wine and craft beer store opening in September in the old Depot Liquors location at the Westport train station.

How long have you lived in Westport?  More than 20 years.

Favorite restaurant:  leFarm is my favorite restaurant and my current favorite dish is the green bean and artichoke salad with cured foie gras, pea shoots and black truffle. Sublime.

Favorite place in Westport: Barnes & Noble. I spend hours (and dollars) there reading and learning.

Why Westport?  I grew up in Easton, but I've lived in Westport since 1988, raised children here, had successful businesses, and despite its many changes, this town continues to challenge me.....hence my latest venture.
