Westporter Wins Big Air at Fenway Event

Westport resident Julia Marino, 18, won the first place prize in the women’s Big Air At Fenway snowboard competition.

Marino had a final score of 169.25, second place was Jenna Blasman with 152.25 and third Brooke Voight with 117.75, according to NESN.

The slope is 140-feet high, which is taller than the light towers at the park. The event brought in world-class competitors from across the globe.
