WESTPORT, CT — Today Show co-host Craig Melvin, and his wife, Fox Sports reporter Lindsay Czarniak, are hosting the Bottoms Up Invitational celebrity golf tournament at Shorehaven Golf Club, Aug. 14-15, which will benefit the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.

The Westport couple is hosting the fundraising event in honor of Melvin's younger brother, Lawrence Meadows, who died of colon cancer in 2020 at the age of 43. Melvin is a member of the Alliance's board of directors.

"This golf tournament is a way to honor Lawrence and advance the Alliance’s cause," the couple wrote in a statement. "We can get more people screened, help patients navigate treatment, and fund innovative research to end this disease once and for all. We’re crossing our fingers for a beautiful weekend at Shorehaven Golf Club in Norwalk, Connecticut, from August 14-15, and looking forward to the rejuvenating experience of connecting with friends old and new."
