WESTPORT, CT — Age of Reason, the popular educational toy store on the Post Road West in Westport, is closing this month after 40 years, the Connecticut Post reported.

Owner Dina Berger, an attorney, told the publication that while Westport was a great place for the store, shopping patterns and the products that customers were looking for has changed over the years, prompting her decision to close.

The store has been a fixture in Westport, and had off-shoots over the years in the Stepping Stone Museum in Norwalk, and Earthplace in Westport.
