WESTPORT, CT — Fleishers Craft Kitchen in Westport, the restaurant that accompanied Fleishers Craft Butchery, closed over the weekend after three years.
The popular butcher shop, located at 580 Riverside Ave., remains open. Co-owner Ryan Fibiger explained the decision in an online post thanking the restaurants' patrons.
"The restaurant and staff have been integral to teaching people how to prepare Meat Raised Right," wrote Fibiger. "However, we've always been a butcher shop first, and we think that it's time to get back to our roots and refocus on providing a truly remarkable customer experience. In the coming months you can expect to see us double down on the quality and customer service you've come to expect from Fleishers, with an added focus on convenience for busy families."
