Westport's Project Return Merges with Homes with Hope

State funding cuts prompted the move.

Westport, CT - Project Return, a Westport-based group home for girls, is joining forces with Homes with Hope due to state budget cuts.

Westport Now reports that Homes with Hope, an advocacy and support group for the homeless, receives a high percentage of its funding from the state, so it is in a stronger position financially than Project Return.

Homes with Hope President and CEO Jeff Wieser believes the two establishments will complement each other, according to Westport Now, a sentiment shared by Project Return interim Executive Director Tessa Gilmore-Barnes.
