Boogie, Bop, Skip and Hop at Stepping Stones Museum for Children! It's time to groove at Stepping Stones! Simple dance steps and a wide variety of music will have children and caregivers bopping and hopping.

Campfire and Fireflies Night at Trumbull Nature and Arts Center. Gather at sunset and learn about fireflies as we celebrate this curious insect. Then, we'll venture into the night to participate in a friendly competition. Gather 'round the campfire for s'more making, storytelling, and more. Bring a flashlight!

The Monroe Farmers' Market Visit the Monroe Farmers' Market and enjoy weekly events for children and families throughout the Summer and Fall! Oh yes, and spectacular, locally grown food!

Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia 3D at the Connecticut Science Center Travel back in time to see dinosaurs come to life! Meet the plant-eating Argentinosaur, the largest animal to have ever walked the Earth, and its nemesis, the Giganotosaur, a carnivore who could easily challenge the famous T-rex.

Friday Flix at the Fairfield Library: Frozen . Showing this week: "Frozen", rated PG. Beat the heat and come to the Fairfield Woods Library to watch a feature film. Bring your snacks! Drop-in program, with parent or caregiver. Space is limited to 60.

Behind the Scenes Tour at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk! Enjoy special access at the Maritime Aquarium of Norwalk and get up close and personal with the amazing residents! Your kids will have a ton of fun and you'll be the coolest adults on the block!

Pops Concert in the Park! Featuring the Stamford Symphony Brass Join us for a free concert at the Grand Steps of Mill River Park, Stamford CT.

Meet Capt Barnacles and Kwazii Kitten of The Octonauts at the Mystic Aquarium!  Captain Barnacles, one of the bravest polar bears you will ever meet, and Kwazii Kitten, the daredevil kitty with a mysterious pirate past, are coming ashore to meet you! Join them as they search for adventure at Mystic Aquarium

Hulapalooza Luau at Stepping Stones Museum for Children. Learn to hula with professionals and take part in luau-themed games and activities. Space limited. Registration required. Members $10/person. Non-members $15/person.

In The Heights - Live Theatre at The Bijou Theatre. In the Heights is a musical with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes.

Third Saturdays: Family Art Experiences in Batik Connect with Ridgefield’s Summerfest at The Aldrich with an afternoon of 1960s-themed art making.

French Market (Farmers' Market) Visit our farmers' market with vendors offering the freshest fruits, vegetables, flowers, baked goods and more! Straight from the farm and right to your home.

Fairy Tale Theater at the Wooster School in Danbury: King Midas and the Golden Touch & The Swan Princess Bring your kids to see Jack and the Beanstalk at the Wooster School in Danbury! Presented by Musicals at Richter, the show is part of their beloved Fairy Tale Theater series.

Sandblast! Sand Sculpture Festival at Tod's Point in Greenwich Bring your pails, shovels, rakes, boards, or brooms to help you sculpt. You may use beach material only such as shells, driftwood, seaweed, rocks, etc… but no living materials. Your kids will have a ton of fun at this family friendly event!

National Zookeeper Week at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo. Come by the zoo, say hello to our zookeepers, and enjoy the fun-filled activities they have in store for you!
