Your body is constantly communicating with you. But the problem is that most of us have gotten pretty good at ignoring it.
Busy schedules and distractions can make it easy to override signals like hunger, fatigue or stress until they get loud.
“Your body gives you feedback all day long, but it takes practice to listen and respond to those signals,” says Hayley Merrill, PA-C, a physician assistant with Hartford HealthCare Medical Group. “When you learn to listen, you can make choices that better support your overall health.”
