Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Westport
A Fairfield resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
WESTPORT, CT — A Fairfield resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased in Westport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Wednesday, John Braun claimed a winning "30X Cash 9th Edition" ticket he bought at the Stop and Shop on the Post Road East.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in January 2022, and as of Thursday, 11 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, 11 second place prizes of $10,000 were also still unclaimed.
More than 1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
