Winter School Break Camps & Activities at the Family YMCA

School Age Vacation Special

The Family YMCA Vacation Special program provides days packed with fun activities on the days when school is in recess. The program is for 1st through 6th grade children and takes place at the YMCA’s Bedford Family Center at 14 Allen Raymond Lane.

Our Vacation Special program runs from 7 am until 6 pm and includes field trips, gym time, a movie, play time in our Kids’ Club and swimming at the Y. The fee for YMCA Members is $95; non-members, $105. Space is limited and registration has already begun so please register early. Click here for details and to download the registration form.

Princess Dance Camp

Young dancers ages 3 to 5 are invited to come leap and twirl through the basics of Ballet and Jazz at the Family YMCA’s Princess Dance Camp, Feb. 16-19 (Monday-Thursday).

This special camp will be held 1:30-3 pm in our Dance Studio in the lower level of the new Y facility.

Each day will feature a new princess theme and a craft project relating to the princess of the day. Ballet and Jazz shoes are preferred but no required.

The fee for the four-day Princess Dance Camp is $200; no YMCA membership is required.

Hafaday School Break Programs

The Family YMCA’s Hafaday Swim Lesson Program for children ages 4 to 8 years old is often held during school vacation breaks, including the Winter School Break for Westport public schools, Feb. 16-20. Gymnastics Camp

Held at the YMCA Gymnastics Center at 145 Main St., Norwalk, Feb. 16-20, 12-4 pm, our Vacation Gymnastics Camp features two hours of gymnastics, games and an art project each day for children ages 6 and older. All campers must have a signed waiver to participate, and please bring a snack and drink each day. (No nuts, please.)
