Winter Weather Advisory Now Issued for Westport
The National Weather Service this evening issued an advisory cautioning that snow will make travel conditions difficult in the morning.

Apparently, whatever snow we’re going to get late tonight and early Friday requires the issuance of a Winter Weather Advisory. The National Weather Service has issued a “Winter Weather Advisory” only for coastal Connecticut or areas along the immediate coast.
The advisory begins at 10 p.m. tonight and runs until 10 a.m. Friday. Snow may accumulate between 1-4 inches along the Connecticut coast. Snow develops late this evening and continues through the rush hour Friday morning.
The weather service states that snow accumulations will result in hazardous travel conditions late tonight through tomorrow morning. Temps will be below freezing, which means whatever falls will stick.
