1 Dead, 1 Injured In Wethersfield Crash
One of the victims of a Monday wreck in Wethersfield has died, according to police.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — A person is dead following a crash in Wethersfield on Monday, according to police. The wreck was reported at 12:01 p.m. on Silas Deane Highway near the Route 5/15 overpass.
A vehicle had collided with the bridge. The two people inside were extricated by firefighters and and transported by Aetna Ambulance to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
One victim succumbed to their injuries while being treated at Hartford Hospital. The identity of the deceased and the second victim are being withheld.

The wreck is being investigated by the Midstate Accident Reconstruction Squad.
