• Pomperaug football's triple-option attack rolls past Wethersfield with nearly 400 yards (theridgefieldpress.com) — Wethersfield High's football team fell 50-21 to Pomperaug in Southbury, dropping the Eagles to 0-2 despite a strong 114-yard, two-touchdown performance from running back Isaiah Edwards.
