Wethersfield families experiencing financial hardship can apply for food and gift cards through the 2026 Thanksgiving Program, according to a town announcement. The Wethersfield Social & Youth Services program helps families prepare a Thanksgiving meal for people living in their household.
The program notice limits the assistance to household members. "Assistance is intended for members of the household. We are unable to provide food for guests," the notice states.
Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026. Families seeking assistance can complete the online application linked in the town's announcement by that deadline.
