Body Of Woman, 22, Missing Since Dec. 2021 Found In CT River: Report

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Sherrian Howe, 22, of Manchester, who was reported missing in December 2021, was found dead in the Connecticut River on Memorial Day, according to WTNH News 8.

On Monday, Wethersfield police said a body was found in the Connecticut River Monday morning. At 9:30 a.m. police received a call from a person who said he had found a body in the river, police said. Wethersfield police and fire crews responded along with the Glastonbury Volunteer Fire Department to recover the body, police said.

Wethersfield police are continuing to investigate. No other details were released. NBC CT said the cause of death has not yet been released.
