Courageous Wethersfield Resident to Appear on National Television

A young woman who has endured a serious heart condition will be featured on a popular bridal program on the TLC network.

WETHERSFIELD, CT - A local resident who was diagnosed with a serious heart problem two years ago will now become known to a nationwide television audience, the Hartford Courant reported.

Katie Langille, 24, has overcome a type of irregular heartbeat called tachycardia, which has been controlled with medication. She recovered with the aid of many family members and friends, including her fiance, Kyle Fontana.

Last fall, Langille's application was accepted to appear on the popular TLC network program, "Say Yes to the Dress." The show was taped in New York City, and will be aired tonight at 9 p.m.
