Crash Closes Highway Lanes in Wethersfield on Monday

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A tractor-trailer and car collided on Interstate-91 as commuters were beginning to hit the road for the afternoon drive home, state police said.

The crash took place at 4:50 p.m. on I-91 northbound between exits 24 and 26 in Wethersfield, state police said.

One serious injury was reported, state police said.

Three right lanes were closed for some time, state police said.

The crash is still being investigated, state police said.
