Update: Crash Cleared On I-91 In Wethersfield

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Traffic was impacted on Interstate 91 in Wethersfield Tuesday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash in the northbound lane, but it has since been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash happened between exits 25 and 27 and resulted in the left lane being closed.

DOT officials said via Twitter that the accident was cleared a 1:37 p.m. about 0.81 miles before Exit 27 (at Brainard Road).

The accident was reported at 12:47 p.m.
