CVS Soap Robbers Cannot Slip Past Wethersfield Police
One suspect displayed a gun and took soap, police said.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Two suspects involved in a robbery at a local store are in custody, police said Friday.
On Wednesday at 12:21 a.m., Wethersfield officers responded to the CVS, 1078 Silas Deane Highway, for a reported armed robbery with a black handgun being displayed, police said.
An employee stated that a male suspect was confronted as he was exiting the store with a large quantity of Dove soap, police said.

The man displayed the handgun and the employee was able to provide a description of the his vehicle, stating that it had a Massachusetts plate.
The employee believed that there was another male inside of the vehicle, police said.

Wethersfield Detectives located the suspects' vehicle later that morning in Hartford.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and arrested, police said.
The handgun was later determined to be a BB gun, however it was very similar to a real Beretta handgun, police said.
