Decomposing Body Found in Back of Truck in New Britain

NEW BRITAIN, CT — Police are investigating the circumstances around a decomposing body found in the back of a pickup truck parked in a New Britain development, NBC Connecticut reported.

Police told the station that a man's body was found around 9 a.m. Tuesday in the bed of a truck parked on Wainwright Drive.

Officers were called to the scene after residents in the area began noticing a foul smell, according to the report.
