Female Bank Robber Sought by Wethersfield Police

The suspect robbed a People's United Bank on Friday on Berlin Turnpike in Wethersfield, according to police.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Wethersfield police are searching for a bank robber who hit a People's United Bank inside a Stop and Shop on Friday evening in the 1300 block of Berlin Turnpike in Wethersfield.

The suspect, described as white, entered the bank just after 6 p.m., walked up to the teller and demanded money, according to police.

She was given an undisclosed amount of money and left, driving off in a primer-colored Ford Mustang with damage to the front passenger side. See the Facebook post below.
