WETHERSFIELD, CT — Wethersfield Police have seen more than a ten-fold increase in pursuits over the past few years, mainly due to car thieves. Police posted on Facebook that the thieves often drive stolen cars in a reckless manner. Many are juveniles and there are few or no ramifications for their actions, police said.
