Freshman and New Student Orientation Being Offered at Wethersfield High School

A parent orientation session is also on tap.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — An orientation session has been scheduled for all grade 9 students and students new to Wethersfield High School.

The orientation program is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 8 to 10:30 a.m.

Students should report to the high school through the community entrance at the end of Jay Street, WHS officials said.

Students should bring their schedules with them. Students will be photographed for student ID’s and picture packages, WHS officials said.

Students who wish to order picture packages should bring the order form that was mailed to their homes by Grynn and Barrett as well as payment for the package, school officials said.

Freshman parents and parents new to the school are invited to attend a parent orientation on Monday, Aug. 29, at 6 p.m. in the WHS auditorium. The evening is designed to provide parents with the same information that the new students will receive on August 30, WHS officials said.
