Gas Leak Closes Wethersfield Street

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A section of Middletown Avenue in Wethersfield was closed for about an hour on Tuesday morning because of a gas leak, police said.

The leak was discovered at about 10 a.m., police said.

The road was closed between Mill Street and the Rocky Hill town line, police said.

There was no danger to the public, police said. Crews were at the scene working on the leak.
