How Wethersfield PD Caught Man Wanted By FBI
The man was wanted in connection with the alleged theft of money from an armored truck.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — A man wanted in connection with the theft of money from an armored truck in Kentucky was arrested by Wethersfield Police Jan. 30.
Mark Espinosa, 28, of Middletown went to the Wethersfield DMV location and attempted to obtain a driver's license with a forged birth certificate, according to police. Espinosa gave police a false name and he was taken into custody.
Espinosa was charged with second-degree forgery and interfering with police by Wethersfield authorities. Wethersfield Police then worked with the FBI and seized a large amount of cash in Espinosa's Middletown apartment, police said.
