Family and friends celebrated Richard “Dick” Lasher’s 100th birthday June 29 at Avery Heights in Hartford.
Wethersfield State Representative Russ Morin presented Mr. Lasher with a legislative citation honoring his many years of service.
For years, Mr. Lasher was the honorary “Mayor of Griswoldville” and he was an avid cheerleader for his neighborhood and town. Griswoldville was once the center of industry in Wethersfield.
