Connecticut Weather Forecast: Rainy Period Continues
We're in the midst of a rainy stretch and we'll let you know how long it will continue and just when the sun is expected to return.

But we need the rain right?
For the first time this summer Connecticut is in the midst of a sort of prolonged rainy stretch which began Friday night, picked up again Saturday night and continues Sunday through Tuesday.
The rain from this period of time won’t restore us to normal rainfall levels but we’ll take all that we can. It also won’t be a complete washout during this time as showers and storms will be off and on throughout this time period.

There is also some good news though if you have outdoor plans later on Sunday.
NBC CT Meteorologist Darren Sweeney writes “It will not rain the entire day, in fact, most of the showers will take place this morning. Lots of clouds but showers will be widely scattered.”
