Man Found Dead At Motel 6 In Wethersfield, Police Investigating
Authorities responded to the hotel on Silas Deane Highway after a caller reported finding a body in a first-floor room.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a Wethersfield motel room on Saturday.
According to Wethersfield police, a person called 911 shortly before 6 a.m. after they found a deceased man inside a room at Motel 6, 1341 Silas Deane Highway. Officers responded and found the body in a first-floor room.
Due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, police requested assistance from the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad. Authorities did not release the victim's name.

Police believe the incident was isolated. There is no ongoing threat to the community, authorities said.
