Man Steals Wallet From Car in Wethersfield, Goes Shopping: Cops
An image of the suspect has been released by police.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Wethersfield police are looking for a man who rummaged through a resident's vehicle, found a wallet and went on a shopping spree.
Police aid the car was burglarized on Friday at Mill Woods Park.
A wallet containing multiple credit cards was stolen, police said.

The stolen credit cards were then used at multiple stores in the area, police said.
Police released a surveillance image of the suspect from one of the stores. He appears to be nonchalantly standing in a checkout line waiting to make purchase, dressed in a gray tank top. He also appears to be buying a new shirt.

Police said anyone who may have information to help identify the suspect in the image, can contact Officer Mike Forrest at 860-721-2901. Police said callers may remain anonymous.
