Memorial Service Scheduled for U.S. Soccer Legend Tony DiCicco
The former U.S. women's national team coach is a Wethersfield native.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Tickets are now available for a memorial service honoring U.S. Soccer legend and Wethersfield native Tony DiCicco.
The service is scheduled for July 8 at 3 p.m. in Central Connecticut State University's Welte Auditorium.

DiCicco, the former U.S. women's national soccer team coach who guided the squad to its second World Cup championship in 1999, died June 19.
He was 68.

DiCicco coached the national team from 1994 to 1999 and won an Olympic gold medal with the U.S. women in 1996.
