Memorial Service Scheduled for Wethersfield Police Dog Killed in the Line of Duty

WETHERSFIELD, CT — A memorial service has been scheduled to honor police dog Thor's two years of service to the Wethersfield Police Department.

The memorial service will take place on Thursday Dec. 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wethersfield
Community Center, 30 Greenfield St.

Thor died in the line of duty last week after a chase that involved a kidnapping suspect.

The man was arrested on Tuesday, but is not being implicated in Thor's death, police said.
