Update: Alert Lifted For Missing Wethersfield Man

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Local police were looking for a 57-year-old man who went missing earlier Tuesday, according to a Silver Alert issued Tuesday.

Police, however, said Tuesday night, the case was resolved.

Police were looking for Edward Mangene, who was described as a white male, with brown hair and brown eyes standing 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighting 240 pounds.

The alert was initially issued at 1:59 p.m., but it was lifted as of 10:12 p.m. Tuesday.
