Night Tennis Begins in Wethersfield

WETHERSFIELD, CT — The Town of Wethersfield Parks and Recreation Department said that the lights will not be on at the Mill Woods Park tennis courts.

New procedures have been implemented on the use of the lights. This year, the lights will be set on a timer to be operational between 7 to 9 p.m., only if a newly installed photo sensor indicates darkness has set in and the user has pushed a button located on the control box at the tennis courts, officials said.

Courts are available on a first-come first-served basis free of charge.
