Pedestrian Killed in Wethersfield

Local police are seeking help in probe of man hit by a vehicle Friday night.

WETHERFIELD, CT — A male pedestrian is dead after reportedly trying to cross a busy road in town, multiple broadcast reports indicated.

According to WVIT Channel 30, a man was found unconscious on the Silas Deane Highway Friday night at about 9 p.m.

WFSB Channel 3 reports the motorist who reportedly struck the man stayed and was cooperating with authorities.
