Police Search For 2 Suspects In Wethersfield Armed Robbery

Police are looking for two people accused of robbing a Wethersfield auto parts store Wednesday night.

WETHERSFIELD, CT — Police are searching for two suspects following an armed robbery Wednesday night.

Police responded at 10:19 p.m. to a report of an armed robbery at an O'Reilly Auto Parts store at 115 Silas Deane Highway.

An initial police investigation found that two armed people entered the store wearing dark clothing and masks. They then took an undetermined amount of money and items before fleeing on foot toward the intersection of Jordan Lane and Silas Deane Highway.

Wethersfield police requested the assistance of a Hartford Police Department K9 team to track the suspects. Police had not located the suspects as of Thursday morning.

There were no injuries in the crime, which is under investigation.
