Potential Jewel Heist Probed In Wethersfield
Wethersfield police are looking for suspects who may have broken into a local jewelry store early Tuesday morning.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — Potential jewel thieves gained access to a Wethersfield jewelry store and local police are looking for the suspects.
According to the Wethersfield Police Department, at about 1:09 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a commercial burglary alarm at Fabulous Jewelry, 1410 Berlin Turnpike.
Upon arrival to the scene, responding units found that entry had been forced to the business, police said.

A search of the business showed the suspects had fled prior to police arrival and the incident is open and under investigation.
Police did not indicate whether any merchandise had been stolen.
