Road Closed As Police Try To Serve Arrest Warrant: Wethersfield Police

"At this time, the area of Prospect Street and Willow Street to Prospect Street and Ridge Road is closed off. Please use alternate routes. We will continue to update this post. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding," police said.

UPDATE as of 6 p.m.: "At this time, the Wethersfield Police Department is working with members of the Capital Region Emergency Services Team, East Hampton Police Department, and Newington Police Department in an attempt to serve an active arrest warrant. Prospect Street from Willow Street to Ridge Road is currently still closed. We will update this as soon as we able to open the road. Please avoid the area if possible. Thank you for your patience."
