Robber Takes Perfume, Sprays Mace At Employees: Wethersfield PD
Two employees were hit by the irritating spray, police said.
WETHERSFIELD, CT — A woman sprayed two Ulta Beauty employees with pepper spray or mace during a Dec. 13 robbery at the Silas Deane Highway store.
Employees approached a female who was concealing 10 different fragrances valued at more than $1,000. She walked past all points of sale and outside of the store, police said.
"Once outside of the store, the suspect sprayed two store employees in the face with mace/pepper spray because the employees followed her out of the store," said Lt. Andrew Power, police spokesman.
