WETHERSFIELD, CT — A wandering swan disrupted midday traffic in Wethersfield on Saturday, police said. A section of Wells Road near Silas Deane Higway had to be closed off at about 1:30 p.m. while the swan was directed to safety, police said. Officers said the swan likely wandered over from Spring Street Pond. An animal control officer was able to get the swan back to the pond, police said. Photo Credit: WPD
